ज्योतिष के अनुसार भद्रा रहित  पूर्णिमा के मान  के कारण  होली का दहन 22 मार्च की रात्रि 3:25 से प्रातः 5:15 तक होगी 24 मार्च को सूर्योदय के उपरांत रंग खेला जा सकता है क्योंकि प्रतिपदा सूर्योदय चतुर्दशी व भद्रा में होलिका दहन नहीं किया जाता है कोई  22 मार्च को चतुर्दशी 2:35 अपराहन तक रहेगी उसके बाद पूर्णिमा शुरू होगी 23 मार्च को शाम 4:15 तक पूर्णिमा रहेगी और साथ-साथ पूर्णिमा भद्रा की छाया  रहेगी जो कि 22 मार्च को सुबह 3:20 तक रहेगी इसलिए 23 मार्च को प्रातः 3:25 से 5:15 तक होलिका दहन करना अच्छा रहेगा कि इसके बाद कुंभ लग्न हे  जोकि की स्थिर लग्न माना गया है  कुंभ लगन 22 मार्च को सुबह 4:15 से 5:45 तक रहेगी कुंभ लग्न में ज्योतिष के अनुसार होलिका दहन करने से शुभ फल से प्राप्त होती है और रंग अ की होली के लिए 24 मार्च को सुबह 6:08 मिनट से मध्यान तक का अच्छा समय हैंl
